Sirpa Tarvainen has earned a Master’s degree in logopedics, and is at present a PhD candidate at the University of Helsinki. Tarvainen is a certified speech and language therapist in Finland and the Netherlands. She has worked as a speech and language therapist for example at the City of Helsinki, Polyclinic of special services for children, and as a private practitioner. She was the chair of the Finnish Association of Speech and Language Therapists from 2018 to 2020.
